Advantage+ is Meta's family of automated campaign products: Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns (ASC), Advantage+ App Campaigns, Advantage+ Audience, Advantage+ Creative, Advantage+ Placements. Each lets Meta's algorithm consolidate audiences + placements + creative into a single learning instance.
For ecommerce, ASC is the right primary campaign type. Operating ASC well requires: a catalog feed in green health, Pixel + CAPI event volume above ~50 Purchase events per week, creative asset diversity (15+ images, 5+ videos, multiple ratios), and a conservative number of ASCs per ad account (4-8 max, not 30+).
The most common failure mode is over-fragmenting Advantage+ campaigns -- the algorithm needs concentrated conversion volume to learn well. Diluting volume across many ASCs degrades performance for every campaign.
