Amazon Brand Registry is Amazon's programme for trademark-holding brands to gain enhanced protection + content control over their listings. Registration requires: an active registered trademark in the target marketplace, ownership verification, and a registered Brand Owner / Authorised Agent.

What it unlocks: A+ Content + Premium A+ for listings, Brand Storefronts, Sponsored Brands campaigns, Posts, Vine + Customer Engagement programmes, Brand Analytics reports, and crucially -- the IP-violation reporting workflow + Transparency programme for counterfeit defence.

Multi-marketplace enterprises maintain Brand Registry per marketplace (separate registration in IN / AE / SA / UK / US), with trademark renewal calendared at least 9 months before expiry. Loss of Brand Registry status on a marketplace drops A+ Content, Brand Storefront, and Sponsored Brands campaigns -- a material revenue + protection hit.
